CURRICULUM FOR BARBERS TO
BECOME MASTER COSMETOLOGIST
The curriculum for students enrolled in a master cosmetology course for barbers
to become master cosmetologist at RSC requires 270 hours of training as follows:
HAIRSTYLING - 100 Hours
Hair cutting and shaping - 10 Hours
Roller placement; shampoo; set and comb-out; blow drying;
one pressing; curling and comb-out - 25 Hours
Fingerwaves - 20 Hours
Pincurls - 20 Hours
Braiding - 25 Hours
Nail Care - 30 Hours
Manicure - 10 Hours
Pedicures - 5 Hours
Nail Sculpting - 15 Hours
HAIR LIGHTENING AND COLOR REMOVAL - 70 Hours
Hair Lightening - 40 Hours
Virgin Lightening - 20 Hours
Virgin Tint - 30 Hours
Retouch Tint - 30 Hours
PERMANENT WAVING - 20 Hours
CHEMICAL RELAXING - 20 Hours
SKIN CARE - 10 HOURS
*RSC reserves the right to adjust all fees during
the year should conditions warrant.
REFUND POLICY
Registration fees are not refunded unless the school cancels a class. Tuition
may be refunded if:
1. A student has pre-registered, but cancels before classes begin (100% refund),
or
2. A student cancels within 14 days of registration after classes begin (80%
refund).
