INTRODUCTION

Roberts’ School of Cosmetology (RSC), is housed in a 3.500 sq., ft. area, located at 2415 Fairburn Road S.W., Atlanta, Georgia. The school is equipped with two classrooms, one large clinic area and a student lounge with locker room. We have created an atmosphere conducive to learning in order to help each student reach his/her highest level of professionalism available as he or she competes in the field of cosmetology.

The curriculum is a unique, sound, blend of anatomy, chemistry, and manual skills which will be taught by professionals in a manner which will stimulate and bring out the creativity in each student. Courses in bookkeeping, taxes, and business ethics will be taught in order to prepare each student for the financial aspects of the business.

Field trips are planned and will be used to aid in stimulating the mind while showing the students the expansive field of cosmetology. Social activities will be planned to provide fun, cultural exposure, and additional educational training.

Advance courses in Haircutting, Chemistry, and Sculptured Nails are available for licensed cosmetologists who are desirous of improving their skills and being introduced to new techniques.

The director is a nationally acclaimed cosmetologist who has won several competitions and awards during his many years in cosmetology. He is also known in the business for his chemical expertise and hair styling abilities. He has traveled extensively throughout the United States as a platform artist and technician for Johnson Products, Vigoro and Clairol, to name a few. He currently owns and operates one of Atlanta’s outstanding beauty salons, Roberts’ Salon of Cosmetology.
